AIN'T DERE NO MORE
2012 Squawking Parrot
50% Carignan, 50% Petite Sirah
When is Carignan good enough to be put in a VMW wine? When it's 110 years old and grown on a barbed wire picket fence on the hillsides of Napa. The soft, spicy notes of the Carignan complement the blueberry chocolateness of the Petite Sirah and in a twist of fate, the two varietals come together to make an elegant, balanced wine in the vein of Double Shotgun.
2014 Peep Show
El Dorado, California
For 2014 we blended the most seductive Grenache Blanc, Marsanne and Roussanne. Although the new blend is a little rounder than the 2013, we still recommend chilling 2 bottles at a time because you will regret not having a second ready as you quickly finish the first!
2013 Peep Show
El Dorado, California
Equal parts Marsanne, Roussanne and Viognier, this beauty starts off a little shy, but that's all a part of the show. By the second sip, the wine teases you with hints of the complexities to come. As you cheer for more, all is revealed. Lush tropical fruit, bananas and white flowers dance on your tongue and in your head. By the time the show is over, you are begging for an encore. Make sure you have a second bottle on hand as the show only improves with increased audience participation.
